- Simple and cheap connecting cable
- Provides full access to the remote alarm
- For all types of DSC alarm panel
Data transmission cable for remote programming of alarm systems or downloading the event lists. Using the remote serial connection function, any alarm panel can be programmed remotely, all you need is a laptop and an internet connection. This feature is supported by a large number of Securecom products, whether they are wired LAN, wireless WIFI or communicate via a mobile data network. The cable connects the serial port of the alarm panel to the serial output of the Securecom communicator. The RemoteSerial software running on the user's computer remotely connects to the alarm panel as if the alarm panel were physically connected to the COM port of the PC. All signals (all bits) coming from the alarm to the physical serial port of the communicator will appear on the virtual COM port of the Remote Serial program, and vice versa. This "tunnel connection" is established over the Internet and is provided by the PULOWARE IoT server.
